We were very pleased to be asked to produce a show for the Saffron Walden Carnival, following on from the great success of our first Carnival show in 2005. 

The Production Team of Daniel Rouse (Musical Director), Katherine Hare (Director and Choreographer) and James Gant (Assistant Director and Choreographer) put together a fantastic show called:

"The Sound of Musicals"

Pictures of the show can be found in the Pictures section of this website.  Members from the Youth Group and the Adult Company joined together for an intensive rehearsal schedule consisting of only 5 Sundays.  Special thanks go to Dance Captain Gemma Holman and Stage Manager John Wigmore for all their hard work.  The show sold out for all three nights!  The show included songs from Cabaret, Mary Poppins, Jersey Boys, Lion King, Follies, The Sound of Music and many more.

June 2005

The Company were asked to produce a show for the Saffron Walden Carnival and the Production Team of Daniel Rouse (Musical Director), Katherine Hare (Director) and Sarah O'Meara (Assistant Director) teamed up to produce:

"Gonna Rise up Singing"

Members of both the Youth Group (following on from their success with 'Les Miserables') and the Adult Company took part and performed for two nights.  The show was the first event to sell out for the Carnival that year and was stage managed by John Wigmore.  The show included songs from Les Miserables, Mary Poppins, Fiddler on the Roof and many more.
